This is the cake for sweet Caleb's dedication. I will try to put the video on here later! Right now I am sitting down with a big bowl of hot homade (by Grammy) pound cake and ice cream on top to write this blog...jealous

We dedicated my sweet little boy this morning! I'm so proud of him! I love him with all my heart! The whole family came out to join us in the celebration as well! Here are some pics from the day!

2 Months Old!!!

Caleb turned 2 months old yesterday but we went to the doctor and he got 3 shots and had to drink some yucky medicine so he was sad all day and we didn't get to take any pictures. However he was feeling back up to his old self this morning so we took tons of pictures today! Here they are. I can't believe my baby boy is already 2 months old...sigh... He is getting to be so big! This pic is me pointing to the 2 month sticker...

My sweet baby boy! He is the cutest, sweetest, most loving fun baby in the entire world. He is such a joy. And I can't wait for tomorrow! We are about to clean the house and start getting ready for tomorrow. Jack and Darla will be here at 1 to help me clean and then we are going to the store! Busy day ahead but I'm glad baby boy is healthy and strong.

Tuesday

So my wonderful friend Shelbi moved in yesterday and it has been great having her here! I love getting to spend time with her and hang out. Also Dantri came over yesterday and we made salmon patties (my house still stinks) but they were wonderful, and then we hung out. We are all going on a walk tonight! Also since I know everyone is very worried about this (haha) I can now fit into a size 6 pant!!!! yay for somewhat going back to normal. I am going to spend this week getting ready for Sunday. I'm so glad we had so many people rsvp. I think this is the biggest turnout we have ever had for something like this. I can't wait to see everyone and get caught up! I wish Candice and Dava could make it though (you should both move closer)! Well the only news I have is Kenzie had a little eye infection but I trimmed her up and rinsed it out and she seems to be MUCH better today. Her eye looks back to normal. Not much going on here. I'm on my way to a candle wearhouse to check out what I can find! Hope you all have great weeks! This was just a cute picture of Jack with Caleb. I'm pretty sure Caleb was trying to tell him and Darla some of our secrets...
And this is present time. As I sit here to type this wonderful blog my chunky monkey sleeps soundly! Look at that double chin. I think everyone can figure out from this picture what his favorite thing to do is.. maybe it's EAT!!!! Isn't he precious???

Caleb's First Haircut

Caleb got his first official haircut today! Since he was having some balding issues we decided it would probably look better for his big dedication Sunday if we gave him a trim. He looks soooooo cute now. He was cute before but now he's a stud. I thought that since we are having 20 of our own people at the church plus all the members and us being the center of attention, we should be as studly as possible. So Darla helped me cut his hair and then they bought me a new outfit to wear as well! We had a great weekend. And to top it all off Shelbi is moving in tomorrow! I can't wait to spend a few months with her! PS that super cute new wrap dress is from the one and only Hawaii. I love it!!!!!

We finally caught him in a BIG smile!!!!!! I love this picture! It is my favorite to date. This was bath time last night. He was of course smiling at his mommy! Like I said he pretty much thinks I'm the greatest. He can't take his eyes of me usually! haha (there isn't anything else to look at! Now for the other winning pictures... He is kinda going bald (by kinda I mean he is) from rubbing the sides of his head on me, daddy and his bed. He always sleeps on his side or tummy so the sides of his head are also in contact with something. Don't worry though he is still the cutest baby EVER! But I'm not gonna lie, it kinda looks like a mullet. Maybe we should try and cut the rest to even it out...

Sleepy boy

Our sweet baby boy taking a little nap. The only long nap of the day. He has not been sleeping today. He would sleep for 30 min then wake up, then sleep for 10 min wake up and so on and so on all day. This time I guess he wore himself out! Yay for sleeping babies! I was able to fix some dinner, (we are having roasted chicken, jalepenos with cream cheese and bacon and mashed potatoes with brown gravy) wonder why I can't fit back in my clothes yet??? Put away the laundry and pick up the house. I should be napping b/c 7 and 1/2 weeks without a full nights sleep can cause severe harm to a person. Here is an example:

I burned my wrist. BAD. Also I hurt my leg working out and I think I'm getting sick... Maybe I should sleep. My body sure thinks so.

Smiley Pants

He really hasn't gotten this big this is a really close bad angle. I was just snapping hoping to catch on and this is the only one I caught even though it's not great! He really smiles all the time! We have gotten on a perfect schedule. We wake up and eat at the same times, stay awake for about an hour smiling and laughing (today he squeeled...so cute) then start to fuss and immediately fall asleep. What a great schedule! He is the happiest baby!

Today we Tee Teed (how to you spell that???) On our cloths so now we are naked. This was when he was ready to go to sleep. I love the frown face too! I know a little sad.

If you can't tell I am kinda a proud mommy! I can't take enough pictures or talk enough about him. He consumes my life in the best way possible! I could not have been blessed with a cuter, sweeter, or better baby!!!

Jack update

Jack and Darla are still at the CO airport. They are hoping to come home today. The doctors said it was not a heart attack or stroke so that is GREAT NEWS! They are still not sure what the proble is but he will have some tests run when he gets back to Amarillo. Please continue to pray all is well! Caleb is doing well. We met AGAIN with the lactacion (however you spell it) consultant today and got a new pump so maybe this time (please keep your fingers crossed) it will work! Caleb smiles and stays awake a little longer everyday. He is growing growing growing! He starts to recongnize me. The other day he was in his crib asleep and woke up and started to cry. I went in there and leaned over his crib and said what's the problem goober and he smiled and laughed. He kinda loves me! A little! All is well on this end!!!!

Busy Weekend

This chunky boy is growing like a weed! We painted daddy's office and ran like crazy all weekend! I just wanted to put a cute pic up of the sweet boy! But we have other things on our mind... Jack is in the hospital in Colorado. He passed out on the plane and they don't know what's wrong. It could be either his heart or brain both are bad. PLEASE PRAY!!!! We will prob be in Amarillo this week or weekend to help him out! We will be in touch of you all...

Big Boy Bed

So we figured out that Caleb is scared of the dark. If we walked into a dark room he would cry or if he woke up in the middle of the night in our room he would cry. So we decided to try his crib because we have a night light in there and he can see if he woke up. He slept so good last night! He went to bed at 9:30 and slept til 2:3o. Then he didn't wake up again until 6:00! YAY! I feel so refreshed. GG is coming down tonight and Colton and I are going to dinner at a steakhouse then to see The Time Traveler's Wife! I'm soooooooo excited!

Caleb loves the bouncy swing! We played in it twice today and he really seemed to be happy both times. I can't believe he is already basically holding his head up and now strong enough to push up on his feet! Before I know it he will be walking and talking! Wow I can't believe how much I love him! What a HUGE blessing he is to our lives! He is growing like a weed and you better all watch closely or you won't believe your eyes! I think he has changed each morning I wake up! Hope you all enjoy the video. It is my favorite to date. There was a really long one where we caught him laughing and smiling but it was too long to put on here and it wouldn't let me so here is a short version.
