Cowboy Up!

This morning my boys decided that they wanted to cowboys and wear their hats to church! So we let them and here are my cuties posing for some pictures! I know that this is not the most flattering picture of Laken but it was funny so I still added it. Keep looking the only get better from here! ;) Here is our cowboy number 2!

Veggie Tales

If you have spent more than 5 seconds in our home you know that Caleb LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba... However, not that there is anything wrong with gabba and we still watch it occasionally, we wanted our kids to fall in love with Gods word. So Colton prayed that Caleb's heart would be turned more towards things like Veggie Tales and OVERNIGHT Caleb stared talking about Veggie Tales like he used to Gabba. (Did I mention that we serve such an amazing God???) Anyways so now Caleb is in LOVE with Veggie Tales and asks to watch it all the time instead of Gabba. He can sing the intro word for word and did it this morning. I of course video taped it but this stupid blogger won't let me upload it... sorry. It is so cute though! I put it on facebook so check it out!

Crazy baby!

Laken does this thing where if he is in your arms, usually, he does what we refer to as crazy baby. It is super cute. But lately he will do it if you tell him to so here is Laken doing the crazy baby!

Start your week off right!

So I have been trying lately to keep praise and worship music on all day long during the day to keep an atmosphere of where our hearts and minds should be ALL day long in EVERYTHING we do. We have always worshiped together as a family in our living room since Caleb was born. I would sing songs to him, teach him how to get on his face before the Lord, and praise him with everything he has. Now I do the same for the other boys as well. All I have to do is turn on the music in our house and all 3 come running to worship! You don't know how proud that makes me as a mommy... I want everything from potty training, to playing, to reading, to worship to be centered on Jesus. Why else are we here????

Last baby, blues

Well since I found out I was pregnant, I have felt a completion in our family. I knew that I wanted this precious baby to be our last. I have completely mixed feelings about this. I am on one hand SUPER excited to have our family completed and in about 2 yrs I will be completely out of the baby stage and that will be very nice! On the other I will miss the amazing miracle of feeling a life grow inside me, I will miss giving birth (I know it's wierd but I have had easy deliveries and their is just something so joyful about going to the hospital prego and leaving with a CHILD!), and I will miss having little ones in our house. I have truly loved every stage of watching my boys grow from infants, into toddlers and into little boys! And since I know this one is a girl ( I just do can't tell you how ;) I feel complete in our family. I am going to now focus on enjoying every second of this pregnancy, birth, and infancy stage since I won't get it again. However I am so thankful and blessed with what I do have. I truly do have the best life in the whole world!!! Who knew that by 25 years old I would already have 4 kids and be done having babies... NOT ME!!!

Shannon is 3!!!

Hey all! Well on March 30th I will officially have a 3 yr old, a 2 yr old and a 1 yr old... (and a 0 yr old...) I am one BUSY momma! But we are having fun! Shannon turned 3 on Friday and he got to hae a fabulous birthday weekend. (He is STILL getting presents and it is Monday!) We went to the park and he had a Spiderman/Superhero Birthday Party! Thank you so much to everyone for being there! GG, Pop and GiGi, Abra and kids, Jed and Kids, Shelbie and Kalum and Brylee, Stefanie and Preslee, Sandy and girls, Liza and Terese, Josh and Kelly, and David! and everyone else who has continued to bring presents and love by we feel truly blessed to have you in our lives!!! What a big birthday party success. Now I just wish I didin't feel so sick and I could finish off all that yummy cake!
