Kids say the funniest things!

So yesterday Colton was helping Caleb go potty, and we have tried really hard to teach our children to thank Jesus for EVERYTHING. For the bad days, the good days, our family, food and friends and everything in between. So yesterday Caleb finsished going potty and said, Oh Jesus thank you for my penis... oh yes he did! We laughed so hard we cried!

Every morning I go to get Laken out of bed he is happy. Unless he is sick he greets you with a big smile and warm hugs in the morning (did I mention he is like the sweetest boy and makes us so super happy???) So this morning I went to get him out of bed and he said momma. Which first makes me happy because his first word was dada... Then I said he precious boy did you just say momma? and he said, ya! I know he is only 9 months old but to keep up with the speed he has been doing everything else I am not surprised he is trying to talk too!

And Shannon has such a different personality than Caleb and Laken. He doesn't say funny things like they do (except who dat be? which is HYSTERICAL!!!) but he is just a sweet spirit. He is constantly singing Jesus loves me, or telling us that Jesus loves him or us or whoever, or singing He loves us oh how he loves us. He is a sweet reminder constantly that Jesus is in our home, our hearts and constantly on Shannon's mind.

Yes I love our home! It is already flying waaaay too fast. I can't believe how blessed I am that God let me be the mommy to Shannon, Caleb and Laken. The song And I could not ask for more rings so true!

Quirko Baby!

Colton has been telling me for months to blog about this so here it finally is. Laken always has his plug upside down. If you put it in right he will take it out and put it in upside down. It is really pretty funny. He is such a good baby. I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE him!!!!!

Super Family!

We took these fun pictures of the boys and then I asked Colton (who is a master on photoshop) to make them look cool so I could frame them for our house. Here are the results! I love them and now have our super boys framed in our house. They were SOOOOOOOOO excited to see themselves looking like real super heros. We now have many conversations about these pictures!

So although I still don't think it is funny yet and I am still getting used to it, Shannanigans is bald! I cried a little and Colton and I have had a serious heart to heart but it's hair and it will grow back right? (thats what I keep telling myself) We are just making stories to laugh about later. Like remember the time I went to the grocery store and came back and you shaved Shannon's head? That was so funny... :)

Black Eyed Pea!

First of all I would like to wish everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Blessings for 2012 and I hope it is your best year yet! I don't really know how our lives could get any better or more blessed (except more babies of course!!!) but I will wish that on our family as well! God has been so good to us in 2011 and every year so I just wish for more of the same!

So Laken got his first black eye and I love to document their first big boo boos so here is the cutie pie! As you can see he is very torn up about it...hahaha He fell down at Pop and GiGis house over our Christmas break.

Mr. Too Big for His Britches!!!

Laken REAllY and I mean really wants to keep up with his older brothers so he has been trying to move and keep up since he was born. So today he started walking with his walker and climbing. He climbed up on Caleb's bed, all by himself, then started climbing up the bunk bed, all by himself. He's not my little baby anymore!!!! Too cute and sweet though!
