Laken McRay Carthel

Laken was born on March 30 at 10:21am weighing 6 lbs 14 oz. Madison is a super mom and did great!

Baby Shower

I have the most wonderful friends EVER!!! Laken's baby shower was wonderful and all of the girls were very sweet.

My hostesses from left: (Morgan, Dantri, Jennifer, Brandi, Abra, Stephanie, and Sarah) threw me a wonderful shower at Brandi's house.

Everyone at the shower was very generous. We were given some of the cutest little baby gifts and a MOUNTAIN of diapers. Thank you all for loving on us!

Well after a rough couple of weeks (thinking I was in labor, severe back pain, low fluids, and now leaking fluids) Laken is coming!!!! We are inducing tomorrow night (March 29th) at 8 pm. It will take a long time and I am sure he won't be here until Wednesday but I can't wait to hold his precious little body and kiss his sweet face and hold his hands! I am nervous about inducing and not looking forward to going through labor again. It is all scary to me, but I know that it is in God's hands and everything will be fine. I can't wait to be a mommy of two! So tomorrow during the day Bug and I will watch movies, eat junk food, lay around all day and be lazy and have a great mommy bug day! False Labor...

So since I am wanting to blog all of the events going on in our lives here is what has gone on lately. We went to the hospital at about 10:30 last night after having contractions all day. We got sent home at 2:00 in the morning with false labor. I was a little upset. I really thought all day that I was in labor and we were going to get a sweet baby Laken but I was wrong. I have an ultrasound scheduled for Monday and my Dr thinks that Laken might have stopped growing. If he has then we will talk about inducing next week. If he is growing fine then we will prob induce around the 30th (if he lasts that long) because my dr is going out of town on the 1st. So that is a little bit about what is going on in our lives... It was 90 degrees outside yesterday so we played in the water. A lot of fun!

Caleb's New Dino Room!

Well our big boy now has a big room!!!! He sleeps with dino sheets under dino paintings and surrounded by dinos everywhere! He loves it. He doesn't want to leave his room! What would we do without a Grandy??? She worked her booty off this weekend perfecting Caleb's room and he just loves it. We had a great weekend with pop and grandy! It had been way too long since we had seen them, since they had been traveling around the world, and Caleb was so glad they were here. I think he said pop like a billion times and wouldn't leave their sides. SO glad to see them. He really, I mean really, loves a pop and grandy!
