Christmas 2011

What a WONDERFUL Christmas!!!! The boys got yo gabba gabba shoes, character pillows and car seat covers. A 4 wheeler, a transformers scooter potatoe heads, basketball goals and really the list goes on and on... What a fun day. We got to play with our cousins, family and friends and it has truly been the most joyful Christmas. I GOT PEARLS FROM JACK AND DARLA!!!! A REAL PEARL NECKLACE!!! Yes I cried! Yes it was my favorite gift and yes I will never take them off... The Trash Can...

So I started this VERY funny joke at our house that if you toot you have to get in the trash can and I will crumple chips on your head (pretend of course), however with all boys at our house of course this joke has really taken off. So the other day S, Bug and I were napping and Caleb sat up and said, "Momma I tooted in your bed." So I said, " Well you know the rule, go get in the trash can." And with the biggest smile ever he said, " And crumple chips on my head!?" And I said yes, and we laughed and went back to sleep. So later this week Colton was throwing something in the trash can and saw toys in it. He got them out and went into the boys room and asked who threw these away. Caleb proudly stated, "I did!" and so Colton asked why. Caleb looked up at Colton with a look of like duh dad had could you not know this (you know the look) and said, "Because they tooted." Colton couldn't control the laughter. I love the atmosphere of our home!

Things I never thought I would have to say to my kids...

I know that this post will grow and grow as they get older but here are some fun ones for now! These are true and unfortunately I have said every one of them...

* Caleb stop tongue kissing Laken.
* No Caleb you can not have more candy for being cute.
* Laken get your mouth off the potty!
* Why are all your dinosaurs in the fish tank?
* Caleb stop eating food off of the mall floor!

Snuggly Weather!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE December!!!!!! By far my favorite month of the entire year! So it was cold yesterday so in addition to me and the boys 2 hour nap.... we read books, watched football and all snuggled together! watching some football. Although my team is not doing well this year :( and both of my teams lost this weekend, I still watch!

Colton thought he would film a minute at the Carthel house! It is hard to read books to 3 little boys. Just sayin!

So excited about Christmas presents!

So I know that everyone is going to be a little jealous by this post but I am Johnny on the spot this year. ALL MY CHRISTMAS SHOPPING IS DONE!!! The Christmas stuff is up! I have not wrapped yet so you can still beat me! haha ;) But there is one prsent I am particularly excited about. When I was little I had a sheepskin that I literally loved to death. Seriously it died.... so when I saw a sheep skin I got one for Laken we are going to name it Sheepie jr. Can't wait to give it to him. Hope I can wait til Christmas we all know how well I wait to give presents...

Ball of Lights!

I know what you're thinking... Oh my they have the cutest little boys in the entire world!!! Well you would be right! I got this idea on pinterest and although the boy in the picture was older and all alone, I think they turned out ok! ;)

I love this one. Caleb loves Laken sooooo much. He is always hugging on him and kissing him. What a great big brother. I rely so much on Caleb to help me and he always comes through. I don't know what I would do without him!

I hope you are having a great Christmas season. Can't wait for Thanksgiving on Thursday!!! YUMO!!!! We will defnitely be ready to eat at Roseann and Monte's house that day! I'm so excited because I even get to cook this year! I have never gotten to help cook before and I am so looking forward to getting to help. SO this Thanksgiving is going to be a yummy one!!!!!

It's Christmas Time Momma!!!!

Yay for Christmas! My most favorite holiday of the entire year! I love the lights, the trees, the spirit of giving, and most importantly, the fact that we get to teach our children about the birth of our precious Lord and about giving! So whenever we see anything that has to do with Christmas Caleb says, Look momma its christmas time!!! haha so We took the big boys to the Trans Siberian Orchestra as part of their gifts this year!!! To say they loved it is an understatement!

Se those seats waaaayyy at the top. No further, right there in the very last row on top.... that is where our seats were supposed to be. But Colton has a friend (yes it pays to know people) and he got us on the third row instead!!! We were so close and had a perfect view!

We had a great time. The boys couldn't have been better and one of my most favorite memories to date!!! I love the Trans Siberian Orchestra and can't wait to see it again!!!!!!!

One of my most favorite things is bath crayons!!! HOURS of entertainment and the boys love them!!!!!!! Well a lot of times the boys ask us to draw random things for them. So we will... Missin me!

So I went to a Women's Retreat with my church this weekend and my sweet, brave husband stayed home all weekend by himself and watched all of our rowdy boys! He did a great job, but he did say he was really ready for me to come home!!!! haha So when I got home I asked all the boys to make a face about how they felt about me being gone (aka how much they missed me). This is the results... (this picture makes him look naked which could be a bit akward, however for the record I would like to state that he is not naked nor do we make it a habit to eat dinner without our shirts on... ;)

So as you can see I was missed VERY much and am so glad to be home!!!!!!!!!!
