1 Thessalonians

In my quiet time this morning, I felt the sweet presence of God wash over as I began to read 1 Thessalonians. I don't remember if I have ever read it before, but you know how you can read something a hundred times and then God speaks or the Holy spirit moves and that word becomes rama in your life! Well as I was reading I just felt like God was reading this precious word over me and my sweet little family: 1 Thes 1:3 We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you, because our gospel came to you not simply with words, but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and with deep conviction.

I love powerful quiet times. It seems like when I start to pray for something my God is quick to answer. I have been asking God if I was doing what He wanted and making sure that our lives were pleasing to Him. As well as if He would examine my heart and make sure it was where it needed to be! He is so good!

So nothing big or anything but Caleb just starting CRAWLING!!!!!!!! Now I just thought I had my hands full! haha I have to watch him 24/7! But this is so cute! I took the original video on my phone so if you have a gmail account I can email you the first time ever, this is a repeat! ;) Now I just get to watch him all night untill he goes to sleep at 8! Colton works untill 10:30 on Tuesdays so I get the evening to myself to read a book and get caught up on American Idol and The Biggest Loser. yay for a peaceful evening!

Naptime blues

I put Caleb down for a nap and I heard him talking away so I went in there to see what he was doing and this is what I saw... He went from laying down to sitting, almost standing by himself! He is getting so big. I know he will be full out crawling by next week. He is SOOOO close. He can crawl a little bit but he will be crawling for real very soon!

Queen for a day!

Today was my birthday and sweet GG came and spent the day with me! Caleb was happy too! We went to lunch and Orlandos then played cards. Tonight I am going to go eat with Monica and her sweet family! (my family) Then Saturday Jack and Darla are coming down to spend the weekend with us and take me b day shopping! yay And they are going to keep bug boy while we go on a date for our 2 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Can't believe it has already been 2 years! I am so blessed!

Swinging machine!

Caleb loves to swing!!! And it was like 70 degrees in lubbock today so when colton got home from work, we went to the park! Caleb has a nice new swing of his own but daddy hasn't put it up yet... (clue jack, get on him ;) anyways it was nice to get out of the house anyways and as you can see from this pic I think he liked it!

So I got this new thing and I absolutely LOVE it. And when I say love, i mean it!!!! Anyways when I showed it to Colton he laughed, but then he took pics so I guess it wasn't too funny... But then Kimber came over for dinner and all she said was that it was big... so I would like to take a poll. But if you say you don't like it, then I don't care! haha jk Dava what do you think... (ps I got this shirt at the thrift store along with the most beautiful skirt that was chicos brand) did I mention I love thrift store shopping???
