Thanksgiving Thankfullness!

Daddy Moments

So Caleb thinks it is a fun game to grab different parts of my face. I think it is fun enough, so we were playing. He grabs my nose, then he grab my eye, then he'll grab my lip which natural triggers me to bite at him and make him jump a little. It is a daily game. Two days ago, however, he grabbed my ear with one hand and then my other ear with the second in order to pull his face towards me and plant a big open mouthed kiss right on my forehead. Drool slowly dripped down my face, but my son had just kissed me and frankly I didn't care. It was the grossest, greatest thing ever.

Then yesterday, while his mommy was holding him, he screeched (his newest favorite noice) and lunged for me with his arms outstretched and hugged my arm. It was wonderful. He only wanted me for a couple of minutes before wanting his mom again, but it was great none the less.

Ok so Colton is still the best husband, but now he has brownie points b/c he FINALLY made my cross that I have been begging for since we got married. He beat it all to pieces so it is offically my old rugged cross! and i LOVE it!!!!!!!! I also love this picture!

Merry Christmas!

ME!

ok so every now and then I have to be selfish and blog about ME so here goes. I have been a BUSY BUSY bee lately! I have started guitar lessons and we meet once a week and I have had three lessons and LOVE it! I can already see a huge improvement and I'm actually kinda good ;)! I seriously play everyday and I will put a video up when i feel like i'm ready! haha Also I have a personal trainer. I pretty much love her. She was a volunteer at Breedlove and she meet Colton and he told me I had to meet her b/c I would love her and I do. Well it is more of a love hate relationship b/c she pretty much kicks my butt on a day to day basis. We have been trying to get together 3-4 times a week and I have homework when we don't get together. Last night we ran 3 miles and did 50 lunges and yes I am feeling that today!~ My clothes however are falling off so YAY YAY YAY!!!!!!!! I am still absolutely loving being a stay at home mom and I never run out of things to do. I am so blessed in many ways, but for sure that I get to stay home and raise our kids! SO that is what is going on in the life of Madison. Oh ya and that I am getting ready to be in CANDICE'S WEDDING!!! And i'm getting my teeth professionally whitened today! Then I have 2 more sessions! God is good! I couldn't be happier and our life is complete!

A New First!

I just can't believe the new things caleb does everyday! The contagious out loud laughter just cracks me up! I never want to leave him long enough to get the camera when he is doing it b/c it just makes me laugh so hard! Anyways he started walking in his walker today for the first time this morning! I can't express in words how AWESOME of a baby he is! I love him so very much!

We also put up all our christmas stuff b/c I love chirstmas (especially this year b/c it will be caleb's first!!!) so i'm excited about that! we bought caleb his first ornament, soooooo cute, and i already have all of his gifts bought! i'm making everyone else's so i have started on that as well and it is going to take me a LONG time but i am so very excited about them!

and he just loves to play! he is happy 99% of the time! we are so blessed to have that PRECIOUS child in our lives!

swine flu

colton has the swine flu... please keep us all in your prayers. especially that caleb doesnt get it...
and caleb juat threw up twice so we are on our way to the dr

Flu season

so im nursing a sick hubby who has the flu and caleb who is running a temp and acting VERY needy and sick... my poor boys. then i'm going to make bread and cake balls to go with the lasagna i made for neils surgery in lubbock on wednesday. then maybe i will get a nap since caleb slept maybe 3 hours last night. (therefore that is how much i slept as well) im kinda sleepy! poor babys

weekend convo!

ok so we all know that caleb doesn't lack in the food department, but he likes eating rice cereal too! it is more of a shovel as fast as you can process and try to keep some in his mouth but it is funny!

also we are coming to amarillo this weekend and when i told caleb about it he got REALLY excited...

rock and ROLL!

caleb rolled over for the first time EVER yesterday!!!! yay i was a little nervous that he might never crawl b/c he hates his tummy and just cries when i put him on it. he also just likes to stand up all the time so i was a little worried but this gives me hope! i wasn't able to catch the first time he did it and these aren't quite the full attempts he put on for me but you get the picture!!!! we also started baby food and juice! bananas were the first food! (well from a baby food jar) he loves them! feeding is a funny time. i really think we get more on our clothes and face than in our mouths but we will get there. it is hard to eat with a big boy fist in your mouth at the same time but tell that to caleb!

ok so some how i messed up and these pic are in reverse order so start at the bottom! then (you can see her little pink collar) she layed down and took a nap with him!!! so sweet. i think its the sweetest thing i have ever seen. then brindle came and joined in as well! what a sweet morning!then she decided to go and sit by him

so i was picking up when i heard kenzie crying so i went to see what was the matter and she was sitting at the bottom of caleb's crib looking up and crying. so i picked her up and put her in there with him while he was taking a nap. at first she sat on the little blanket away and just looked at him...

Halloween

ok so most of you already know but if you don't we don't celebrate Halloween. instead we decided to make that a family day and do fun things together as a family! colton actually had to work this year so we went to floydada to get some things for breedlove then i helped colton but here are some pics. you can click on them to make them bigger if you want! this one was taken today! he HAS to have something over his face to sleep!
